Dear first year student,

We are thrilled to welcome you to your first semester at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, and we are delighted to inform you that, as a new student at UPB, you are also part of the pioneering European University EELISA – European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance. EELISA is an alliance of nine partner universities located in seven countries: Romania, Spain, Hungary, France, Turkey, Italy and Germany. Their aim is to create a truly European space to study and do research, and to rejoin forces to build a European campus.

EELISA brings together the brightest minds of Europe. Together with over 180.000 students, 27.000 academic and administrative employees and partners from business and society, we are reshaping the future. EELISA’s mission? Creating a sustainable, fair and inclusive Europe by addressing key challenges in technology and society.
